Is your teenager struggling to cope with school, friends, family and extra curricular activities? If they are not fully engaging in the things they want and need to do, this is the time to reach out for help.
As a registered occupational therapist, I treat and manage mental health illnesses, complex and chronic health conditions, congenital and developmental disabilities, and any symptoms that limit participation in everyday activities.
While I specialize in eating disorders, I also help young people with anxiety, depression, self-harm, stress, sleep, fatigue and persistent / chronic pain.
Book your video appointment for an initial assessment – you are welcome to attend as a family or you can book your teen a one-on-one private assessment. Some parents like to book the first appointment for themselves to talk about how to proceed, before booking their teen a first appointment.
As well, I help children to participate more fully in their lives, whether they have special needs, developmental delays, or are just struggling to keep up with their classmates. This can include fine motor, gross motor, self-regulation / sensory needs, handwriting / printing, and school consultation to enhance learning. Please contact me to discuss your needs further.
Hi, I’m Lori. I help young people struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, and any condition or symptom that effects their wellbeing. While my practice is mainly focused on adolescents, I do also work with adults. Feel free to get in touch to see how we might be able to work together.
I know how devastating an eating disorder can be to an individual and their family, but with specialist support, an individualized care plan, and a consistent approach, recovery is possible!
For those new to relaxation or who like short breathing exercises, I create audio downloads that are under 5 minutes in length. They focus on basic breathing techniques to help train your nervous system to calm down. Find out more here.
